We talked about my books, watched a presentation about the writing process and wrote stories together. I <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">even</span> ate lunch with four lucky second graders and gave away a few of my books as prizes for kids who colored beautiful pictures of me. All of my friends from Lowry Elementary were there reading my books and coloring pictures of me. I was handing out pencils and suckers which were a huge hit with all of the kids.
